I’ve been having fun with these network-like elements and bar-chart style shapes this week and threw this one together last night. I love the different blue hues and how they come together in this one. It feels sort of ominous but also hopeful (kind of the way I view technological progress and AI right now).

digital art: BDE – “big digital energy”
I am really liking the mix of digital imagery with movement from natural things and beings. This is one of latest creations in this theme.
I couldn’t decide on which color scheme I like the best, so I made a few other variations:
digital art: odd cityscape in blue and red (“city boy’s out of his mind again”)
I put together this odd “cityscape” type of design and made a few different versions and color schemes. Given the city vibe, I decided to name it “city boy’s out of his mind again” pulled from the lyrics of the Disco Biscuits classic “House Dog Party Favor” (of which there are many amazing versions, so it’s impossible to choose one, but here’s a great one from 2002).
some alternate versions:
digital art: “whale code” – fun with wave shapes and bold colors
I have been trying to work more wave shapes into the mix. I put this together and labeled it “whale call”, then changed it to “whale text”, then decided on “whale code.” I really like this one for some reason.

digital art: fun with greys and blues = “glocean”
One my favorite creations so far is this odd mix of blues and greys which I call “glocean” for some reason:
digital art : gradient moons
I started playing around with some color gradients and made a few “moon” shapes that I thought came out well. I posted a bunch of variations below with the purples and blues being my favorites:

Some variations of above that I really liked:
digital art: greys and yellows (aka “grellow”)
Some more random digital artwork in the same vein as “the grey and the green” featured here.
digital art: the grey and the green
I’ve long been a visual person and have thought about doing more art for quite some time. I’ve been using a few design tools like Figma and Canva for mock-ups for work and finally decided to try my hand at some odd creations.
Below are a few of my first attempts at a concept using some of my favorite colors (green and grey). I think they came out nicely:
