I am really liking the mix of digital imagery with movement from natural things and beings. This is one of latest creations in this theme.
I couldn’t decide on which color scheme I like the best, so I made a few other variations:
I put together this odd “cityscape” type of design and made a few different versions and color schemes. Given the city vibe, I decided to name it “city boy’s out of his mind again” pulled from the lyrics of the Disco Biscuits classic “House Dog Party Favor” (of which there are many amazing versions, so it’s impossible to choose one, but here’s a great one from 2002).

I have been trying to work more wave shapes into the mix. I put this together and labeled it “whale call”, then changed it to “whale text”, then decided on “whale code.” I really like this one for some reason.

One my favorite creations so far is this odd mix of blues and greys which I call “glocean” for some reason:
I started playing around with some color gradients and made a few “moon” shapes that I thought came out well. I posted a bunch of variations below with the purples and blues being my favorites:

I’ve long been a visual person and have thought about doing more art for quite some time. I’ve been using a few design tools like Figma and Canva for mock-ups for work and finally decided to try my hand at some odd creations.
