Buy Cheap Diazepam From India I was lucky to see a lot of great live shows this year, and even luckier to be able to shoot most of them with my Nikon D5000. Although I am decidedly an amateur, I think I ended up with some pretty decent shots, so I decided to create a “best of” style compilation to wrap up a great 2011. Continue Reading…

Song of the Day: “Nothing Ever Happened” by Deerhunter

get link I caught Deerhunter live last Friday down in Austin during SXSW and they rocked this tune hard.

https://www.boasdeibiza.com/boat/online-valium-uk.php A few things I love about this song:

https://www.acp-online.org/image/how-to-order-valium-online.php 1) I really dig the opening bass and drums groove. I hear the opening notes and it immediately reminds me of the Spencer Davis Group’s “Give Me Some Lovin'” from way back in the day:

https://riverhillcurrent.com/24et4n2 And just when I expect a big, bright major chord organ, they drop this darker bass line for the verse section, which is more reminiscent of a 90’s alt rock tune.

https://opponix.com/dj6yvtihwnp 2) I also like the way the different sections flow throughout the song. By ~2:30, we’ve already gone through three distinct sections. And beyond that first change I mentioned above, they’re much more subtle. It all flows perfectly.

click here 3) Like so many of my favorite Deerhunter tracks, the song’s outro seriously kicks it up a notch. From ~2:35 on, it’s just dual-guitar madness. But it’s the riff at ~4:05 that really gets me. It’s just a little finger-tapping riff, but with all the extra distortion, it’s totally loud and raw. Along with all the other guitar layers, it creates this killer, raging jam to close out the tune. Love it.

My Favorite Music of 2010, Part 1: Albums

https://hereisnewyorkv911.org/41efvpu I’ve been blogging on and off for a good 4+ years with music being one of my main topics, yet I’ve never really jumped on the wagon for the “best of the year” listing ritual. I’m not really sure why. Maybe I never found the lists all that compelling or maybe I just wasn’t all that into the process of it.

But for some reason that I can’t really pinpoint, this year I felt the need to look back at 2010 and put together a list of my favorite music. I guess there was a lot of great music that came out last year, or maybe it’s that I’m really starting to feel the urge to blog about music again. Whatever the reason, I’ve officially decided to jump into the list game, albeit in my own way (without any specific numbers or hierarchy).

I originally had one, giant post so I’ve decided to split it into 2 parts. Part 1 is for all my favorite full albums of 2010. Check it…
